Ring Tail Lemur

Back in January, I had a customer contact me and ask if I’d be interested in making her a sock monkey, but she wanted it to look like a Ring Tail Lemur.  Like the one from the movie.  You know, THAT movie?

I told her I’d love to try, but I’d prefer to crochet it, since I am better at manipulating yarn than fabric.  So she agreed.

I had a lot of fun making him, probably because I wasn’t writing down the pattern as I went along.  Here is her blog post about him, and a pic of the “improvements” she added.
