Making Moves

I’m happy to say that I have made the first major move to getting back to my creative side! I’ve told my bosses at work that I want to go back to part-time. And they took it well.

Since I can’t just leave them in a lurch, I gave the end of May as the latest I want this to happen. Going back to part-time and (hopefully) working 3 – 4 days a week will give me so much more time to tap into my creative side. I have 4 or 5 patterns that are pretty much ready to publish (each one needs something minor, like to be typed up or to have pictures added) and I just need some extra hours in my week to get it done.

I joined a couple street teams on Etsy, although, so far I haven’t been able to devote much time to either of them. I have lists of things I need / want to do.

I’m so mentally ready to do this!

Getting Back into the Swing of Things

I’ve made a resolution of sorts this week.

I’m rededicating myself to crochet!

I’ve let my full-time retail job consume and depress me long enough.  It’s time to find my creative groove again and get back to what I love.  I’m hoping I can get it going enough to quit my retail job.  That would be awesome!

I have about 5 patterns (free and paid) just about ready to be published and I”m currently just sitting on them. So I resolve to get those published in the next week or so (they mostly just need to have pictures taken and get them on the web.)

And I resolve to become more active in my blog, the Etsy forums, Etsy teams and crochet email lists.

Trying to decide whether or not to give these good eggs personalities; like hair, simple clothing, etc.

Sorry!

Just in case anyone actually reads my blog, I apologize for it being broken recently. WordPress broke my family’s website, too. I’m working on getting it back up and running.

Thanks for your patience,
